Our story

Josh Miller, Founder and CEO, left his secure engineering position to pursue full-time real estate investing, so he could spend more time with his family.

His experience taught him this most important lesson: marketing is crucial.

He soon realized that even the real estate “educators” were doing it wrong.

Josh founded GoForClose in May 2019, leveraging his real estate experience to help others achieve the same level of success.

Like Josh, Nate Worcester had been a real estate investor for a number of years, but rather than making it his full-time occupation, he instead focused on developing his skills with technology and business. Using his background in software engineering, Nate ran operations and product development at a real estate tech company he co-founded.

Nate and Josh met at an entrepreneurship conference, and the two immediately clicked. Sometime after the conference, Nate reached out to Josh to get some advice on real estate: one thing led to another, and they ended up partnering at GoForClose in April 2020.
